Heavy Industry Operator

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Industry Operator to join our team at ASD in Kidderminster. This is an exciting opportunity to work with heavy machinery, operate decoiling / slitting Machines, fork-lift trucks, and overhead cranes.
The role involves working on a site that processes thousands of tonnes of steel each week, so health and safety is a top priority. You will receive full training on how to operate all the machinery, as well as manual handling and general health and safety training.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate the Bud Profiling Line or other scheduled activities e.g. machine operation, loading, basic maintenance, TPM, 5S, or any other duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Experience operating a profiling machine, Plasma Profiler, Press Brake, CNC Machine or similar, FLTs & overhead cranes, preferably in a manufacturing, Steel environment, warehousing or distribution.
- A real passion for health and safety and a desire to be part of continually improving our site.

- An estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per year, depending on experience.
