Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical schematics, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Analyse and optimise electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Generate detailed requirements for electrical systems, setting the foundation for exceptional designs.
  • Capture and document electrical schematics and designs with precision and accuracy.
  • Select suitable cables and protective devices, ensuring the highest level of safety and reliability.
  • Provide expert advice and reviews on electrical component selection, contributing to project success.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Embrace various engineering tasks that support projects and programs, showcasing adaptability and versatility.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, offering insights to shape the future of the business.
  • Maintain thorough and organised documentation, following local operating procedures.
Requirements
  • HNC or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, demonstrating a strong educational background.
  • Team player mentality, thriving in a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Previous involvement in specifying electrical components, highlighting attention to detail and critical thinking.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, allowing you to excel in various tasks.
  • Rapid learner with a flexible and adaptable engineering approach, ready to tackle diverse challenges related to electrical design.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematic capture and drawing review, displaying a comprehensive understanding of the design process.
