Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging role as a Mechanical Project Manager, overseeing and delivering mechanical projects within the central belt of Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical project management, ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating mechanical projects, collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to establish project requirements and expectations. A key aspect of this role is developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.

This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coordinate mechanical projects to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and maintenance of high-quality standards.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to define project requirements and expectations.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
  4. Lead project meetings to provide regular updates on progress and address any arising issues.
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience in mechanical project management within the construction or M&E industry.
  2. Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment across various sectors.
  3. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  4. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is desired.
