Earthworks Examination Specialist

We are seeking an Earthworks Examination Specialist to support our client’s engineering team in Scotland. This role involves working on-site across various locations, providing expertise in earthworks assessments following established guidelines. The successful candidate will oversee, review, and approve earthworks examinations and manage associated reporting.
This role is flexible on location, but the role will require travel throughout Scotland. Travel costs will be covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing workload and coordination for earthworks examiners
- Reviewing and approving earthworks reports in accordance with industry standards
- Reporting urgent defects related to safety
- Conducting site checks to ensure examination accuracy
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in earthworks examination within the rail industry is preferred
- Qualifications: Chartered Engineer/Geologist OR: Minimum Level 5 relevant qualification
