We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Reed. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in providing expert financial services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, sole-traders, LLPs, and charities.
- Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, other members of the accounts team, and other departments to obtain necessary information for financial statement preparation.
- Accounting Services: Deliver exceptional client service by providing expert accounting services, including tax computations, VAT returns, and ad-hoc client support.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the accounts team and other departments to manage and prioritize internal workflow and assignments to deadlines.
- Technological Solutions: Assist in driving technological solutions in accounting throughout the office.
- Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, and previous experience of CCH, Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage.
- Personal Qualities: Great attention to detail, strong organisational skills, pro-active and positive attitude, and Xero certified.
- Competitive Salary: A generous remuneration package includes a competitive market rate salary.

- Annual Leave: 23 days annual leave (exc BH) – increasing by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days.
