Support Young People with Complex Needs

Lavoro Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our team in Liverpool. As a member of our children's team, you will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Emotional, Social, and Behavioural Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support young people with complex needs in a residential home setting
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people and their families
  • Manage challenging situations and difficult behaviours
  • Utilize safe holds and restraints where necessary
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote independence and life skills
Requirements:
  • Driving licence is essential
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with young people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Difficulties, and Emotional, Social, and Behavioural Difficulties
  • Natural ability to build positive relationships with young people and earn their trust
  • Competent working with IT systems
  • Can-do and compassionate attitude
