Clinical Care Specialist

HammondCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their residential care team. As a key member of the team, you will provide person-centred care to residents, working collaboratively with management and carers to deliver tailored and responsive care.
About the Role
This is a clinical support role, requiring the successful candidate to work in a consultative and advisory capacity. You will be responsible for advising and supporting care delivery, educating and mentoring carers in clinical areas, and providing clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Advising and supporting care delivery by the care team
- Providing education and mentoring to carers in clinical areas
- Consultative in case management and clinical decision-making
- Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
- Implementing and supporting a resident comfort focus
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends. You should also be able to work independently and show initiative, while valuing teamwork and collaboration. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge and experience of working with people living with dementia and their needs, as well as a genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference in their lives.
