Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Costain is seeking a highly skilled Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our successful team based in Manchester. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical input for projects and proposals, including preparation, checking, and approval of engineering documentation.

This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days in our Manchester Office. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including those in the energy sector, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that transform the performance of the infrastructure ecosystem.

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in electrical engineering or a suitable equivalent, and at least 15 years' experience in the energy sector. You should have good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements within electrical engineering, as well as the ability to champion sustainability, safety, health, and environment.
