CNC Miller/Turner Specialist

About the Role:

The CNC Miller/Turner position at Core Laboratories is responsible for mechanically manufacturing components to the required quality and industry standards. This role requires attention to workmanship quality, health and safety issues, and minimizing mistakes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand technical drawings and program, set, and operate CNC Machines to within drawing specifications and allocated times, primarily Mazak mill/turn machines.
• Perform first off inspection and in-process inspection, including filling out quality inspection sheets and route cards.
• Use measuring equipment, including micrometers and verniers, and produce programs and back them up, including creation of a setting sheet.
• Work well as part of a team and on an individual basis, with the ability to work additional hours when required.
• Work accurately and efficiently, maintaining good housekeeping and adhering to Company recognized procedures and processes at all times.
• Comply with all HSE requirements and undertake any other reasonable duties as designated by the line manager.

QHSE Responsibilities: Demonstrate compliance with applicable legal requirements, Company QHSE policies, guidelines, and procedures, and codes of practice (as applicable). PPE requirements include Safety footwear, goggles, gloves, and ear protection. Work within a fast-paced machine shop environment.

Experience: Related industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Competent in all aspects of manufacturing requirements and will have considerable experience working on similar machines.

Work Environments: This position is based site-based with significant part of working being office-based with occasional site visits.
