Bakery Driver/Packer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced driver to join our team at Bakeri Baltzersen, a wholesale and retail bakery operation based in Harrogate. As a Bakery Driver/Packer, you will be responsible for delivering our products to our partners and customers in the Leeds, York, and Wakefield areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Packing products for delivery
- Driving and delivering to our partners
- Other duties as required by the bakery manager
Shift Pattern:
Your normal shift pattern will run from midnight to around 8am, Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off. You will need to have your own transport to get to and from the bakery, as public transport is not an option.
Pay:
The basic rate for this role is £12.22/hr, with an additional £3.00/hr 'Unsocial Hours' top-up rate between 11pm and 6am. This will apply for the majority of your shift.
Requirements:
- Experience as a driver
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- Own transport to get to and from the bakery

Bakeri Baltzersen is a wholesale and retail bakery operation that is part of Baltzersen's. We bake a range of long fermented sourdough loaves, rye, ciabatta, and more traditional yeasted white and granary style loaves/rolls. We also bake pastry and vienoisserie from scratch.
