About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Maintenance Caretaker at HL Services (London) Ltd. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake repairs and maintenance duties to ensure the upkeep of our sites
  • Identify and report any potential maintenance issues that require specialist or contractor attendance
  • Maintain a safe environment for our clients and staff
  • Assist with building checks and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and follow administrative procedures
  • Contribute to waste management and general cleaning initiatives
  • Perform painting, plumbing, and heating tasks as required
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to interpret written instructions and maintain simple written records
  • Experience in handyman trades, including painting, plumbing, and heating
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Excellent awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Proven ability to achieve/exceed business objectives
  • Experience implementing quality standards and working to customer specifications
  • Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
  • Practical skills in identifying and/or carrying out repairs
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English, customer care, and interpersonal skills
