As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist with National Locums, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Therapy Unit. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes, and we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic healthcare team in Scotland.

About the Role:

  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate and specialized care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment to assess their conditions and respond promptly to changes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to provide updates, support, and education.
  • Adherence to Protocols: Adhere to established protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and ITU/ICU training/certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • PVG Certificate will be an advantage

Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career development. We offer a competitive salary package that reflects your value as a skilled nurse.
