Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Catering Assistant to join our team at CAFRE Greenmount, Antrim. As a key member of our food and facilities management team, you will provide an efficient and friendly service to customers, assisting with all aspects of food preparation and presentation to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide an efficient and friendly service to customers, assisting with all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Comply with all HACCP regulations and Health, Safety & Hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a hygienic and tidy environment, ensuring tables, accompaniments and counters are kept clean and adequately supplied.
  • Check deliveries and food temperatures, completing records and operating the till as required.
  • Report defective equipment, utensils, work and floor surfaces or any other Health and Safety issues to your Line Manager.

Requirements:
  • Basic statutory training for the role, including basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on your own and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service and reputation.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and positive with a can-do attitude.
