Race Equity Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Race Equity Consultant to join our team at the Youth Endowment Fund. As a Race Equity Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting our research and evaluation work to ensure that it is informed by a deep understanding of the historical and political context in which we operate.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside our evaluators and researchers to ensure that our research and evaluation work is informed by a race equity perspective.
- Conduct landscape assessments to understand the historical and political context in which our research and evaluation work operates.
- Design and implement data collection methods that promote equitable outcomes.
- Analyze data to uncover root causes of racial disparities.
- Develop comprehensive dissemination strategies that consider the language used and stakeholders as the key audience.
- Proven track record of working to improve racial diversity, equality, and inclusion within research and evaluation contexts.
- Experience of carrying out research work with racialized communities.
- Understanding of the historical and political context in which our research and evaluation work operates.
- Experience of charitable grant-making in the UK, either as a grantee, a grant-maker, or a grant evaluator.
- Ability to work independently and seek input from relevant team stakeholders throughout.
