Job Summary

DEED Leisure and Culture is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Casual Lead Sports Coach to join our team. As a key member of our Athletics Programme, you will be responsible for leading sessions that engage children and promote a love for sports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the teaching and coaching of various client groups with varying abilities
  • Develop and deliver a progressive and developmental programme
  • Maintain and update participant records
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment is provided at all times

Requirements

  • Hold an Athletics Level 2 (UKA Athletics Coach qualification)
  • Experience in Athletics coaching, working with children from diverse backgrounds, and planning structured activity sessions
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work in a team and independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and enthuse others, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
