Maintenance Engineer Job Description

**About the Role**

We are partnering with a leading FMCG business to find a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned maintenance, breakdowns, and line change-overs.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Participate in the delivery of the Engineering department vision and strategic plan.
* Maintain production OEE to hit site KPI targets.
* Identify and action opportunities for improvements within the engineering environment.
* Adhere to and support factory-wide systems for the adherence to company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment.
* Work in partnership with relevant parties to aid in the planning and support of all capital engineering projects.

**Requirements**

* FMCG experience preferred – food or packaging desirable.
* Minimum of ONC in Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical preferred.
* Day/late shift pattern.
