Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Access Equipment Technician to join our team at Speedy Hire. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our powered access equipment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will be based at our customers' sites, working closely with our clients to ensure their equipment is safe and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing and repairing powered access equipment
  • Attending emergency breakdown calls and scheduled service maintenance
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing high-quality services
Requirements
  • CAP registration (ideally)
  • Valid driving license
  • Previous experience working on powered access equipment (e.g., Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG)
  • Estimating repair costs and detailed troubleshooting
  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings
  • Previous engineering experience within powered access (advantageous)
