About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to become a Mechanic Apprentice at Solent Commercials Ltd, working alongside experienced technicians to develop valuable skills and knowledge.

The apprenticeship program covers all aspects of heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, including theory and practical training. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience with modern diagnostic tools and software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Study service manuals and mechanical engineering principles related to heavy vehicles
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills
  • Document all work performed on vehicles in maintenance logs

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 per annum.
