Prospero Teaching is a leading provider of educational services, seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to deliver 1:1 tailored lessons in Ashford. As a Personalised Learning Specialist, you will bridge gaps in pupil's education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

The role requires creating, planning, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. You must be able to re-engage pupils who have been out of education for some time, addressing their low confidence levels and providing structure to their daily routine.

We are committed to supporting your professional development through accredited continued professional development courses, including safeguarding and behaviour management. Our In-house Training and Development Team ensures you receive the necessary tools to excel in this position.

Contract Details

  • Location: Ashford

  • Duration: Dependent on each student
  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Hours: Minimum 1 hour per session, maximum 3 hours per session
  • Rate of pay: £25 per hour

Requirements

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or equivalent qualifications
  • 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
  • Experience working with SEN or similar students

Eligibility Criteria

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
