Kettering, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom Barchester Healthcare Full time
Lead Clinical Governance and Quality of Care

We're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Nurse to lead and support the continuous improvement of clinical governance and quality of care for our residents in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

This role requires a strong and up-to-date clinical practice, with extensive experience in resident/patient care and confidence in managing chronic diseases and wound dressings. As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you'll have a deep understanding of current regulatory requirements and be equipped to review and support the performance of every home in your region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and analysing clinical governance databases and KPIs to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing practical strategies to meet regulatory requirements and improve care delivery
  • Working closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions
  • Organising new training, attracting key senior clinical staff, and delivering clinical investigations

To succeed in this role, you'll need a current NMC registration, RN (General) qualification, and evidence of continued professional development. As an experienced nurse, you'll have worked in a care home environment and as a clinical mentor, supporting newly-qualified nurses.

In return, you'll receive a competitive salary, car allowance, mobile phone, and laptop, as well as access to free learning and development opportunities, retail discounts, leisure savings, holiday and travel discounts, and a mentor bonus scheme.
