We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated physiotherapist to join our team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 6 physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality physiotherapy care to patients across our orthopaedic services.
About the RoleThis is a rotational position, offering the opportunity to work across various sites within the trust, including North Tyneside General Hospital, Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care hospital at Cramlington, Wansbeck General Hospital, and Hexham General Hospital. You will work as part of a dynamic team, providing physiotherapy services to patients with a range of orthopaedic conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with orthopaedic conditions
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in the development and implementation of physiotherapy services
- Contribute to the education and training of junior staff members
- BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent experience and/or qualification
- Member of the Health Professionals Council
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Experience working in orthopaedics, with a focus on trauma and elective care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
