Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Compliance Specialist. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our internal audit processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform internal compliance audits on key business activities, including eligibility, data collection, and paperwork accuracy.
  • Complete assigned activities in line with our Internal Audit Strategy.
  • Prepare internal audit reports to highlight areas of best practice, issues, and risk, and deliver feedback to designated business areas.
  • Assess how well the business is complying with rules and regulations and inform management of any issues that need addressing.
  • Review internal policies and process guidance to ensure they are accurate and relevant.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of funding rules for apprentices and other learning programs.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office.
  • Accuracy and ability to follow instructions.
  • The ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Comfortably interact with senior management colleagues.
  • Ability to carry out basic analysis on information.
