About the Role:
Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Town Planner to join our client's multi-sector Town Planning and Architectural Design Practice in the UK.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Town Planner to advise on a variety of projects ranging from domestic matters to strategic residential developments. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable previous experience at Planner level, ideally in the private sector, and be eligible for chartership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on developments of all types and scales, from challenging domestic matters to major residential projects.
- Secure planning consents for clients across the UK, including homeowners, corporate organisations, housing associations, and local businesses.
- Work closely with the team to advise on a variety of projects, from domestic matters to strategic residential developments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of the practice's planning services and expertise.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable previous experience at Planner level, ideally in the private sector.
- MRTPI Chartership or eligible for chartership.
- Strong knowledge of planning regulations and policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
