About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Springwood Lodge in Guiseley. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the quality and management of nursing care and delivering clinical services.

With a strong background in mental health rehabilitation, you will oversee the care and support of service users, while promoting good teamwork and collaboration among staff. Your leadership skills and experience will enable you to make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.

As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Delegating nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinating with other teams.
  • Monitoring service users' conditions and responding to changes.
  • Supervising other members within the team's unit and providing guidance and support.
  • Making critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Being liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaboration.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care and support.

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification.
  • NMC registration.
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate.
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice.
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership skills.
