About the Role:

Wiltshire Council Careers is seeking a Generalist Public Health Consultant to lead on Health Improvement, helping us put public health at the heart of all public services.

The Successful Candidate:

We are looking for an experienced individual with strong leadership skills to champion our health improvement goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public health principles and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to improve health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Lead on health improvement initiatives to improve health and wellbeing across Wiltshire
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce health inequalities and protect vulnerable populations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve health improvement goals
\

Requirements:

\
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., public health, healthcare management)
  • Proven experience in leading health improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\

Salary and Benefits:

\

This role offers a salary range of £81,490 - £100,406 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include a 37-hour working week and a competitive pension scheme.
