As a Strategic Account Development Specialist, you will be responsible for improving and developing Avantor's broad relationship with allocated key accounts.
We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role also provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development, with a strong focus on leadership and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior-level management at customer organizations to uncover new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive strategic account development and improve existing relationships.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the Strategic Partner UK Team and associated Account Managers and Specialists.
Requirements:
- Degree-level achievement in a scientific or technical-related area.
- Proven track record of sales management within the scientific/technical industry or equivalent.
- Experience in delivering accurate forecasting, budget planning, and in-depth business reviews (internally and externally).
Additional Information:
Frequent travel around the UK is required, with ad-hoc travel abroad as necessary. A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
