Job Description

This Apprenticeship provides an exciting opportunity to join our Diagnostic Cardiology Department as a Healthcare Science Assistant. Working closely with senior team members, you will provide clinical support in various settings, including inpatients and outpatients across both hospital sites and community-based provision.

You will be responsible for fitting ambulatory monitors, supporting clinics, and obtaining observations such as blood pressure, heart rates, heights, and weights. Additionally, you will work alongside senior members of the team in clinics providing pacemaker and complex cardiac device follow-up and echocardiography.

This role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Prior experience in cardiology is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds who are eager to learn and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.
