Job Description

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a seasoned Engineering Project Manager to join our team on a 6 – 12 month Contract.

This role is INSIDE IR35.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will oversee engineering activities of the project, considering quality, cost, and time delivery criteria. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning overall design activities and managing project design budget
  • Implementing design change processes and supervising engineering activities
  • Ensuring technical coordination of the project, including coordination with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Managing global time schedules and coordinating with other project functions
  • Leading and coordinating design teams
  • Following the engineering budget and identifying potential savings

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of the Transmission or Distribution industry
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in engineering project management
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
