This is a full-time or part-time post with up to 25 PA's to support the recently developed neurodevelopmental pathway. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of patients in their direct care, providing community-based paediatric care within the Blackpool area, and working in the Blackpool school-aged setting as the link doctor covering a catchment of schools.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing a caseload of new and follow-up patients in a multidisciplinary fashion
* Providing continuity as patients move into school-aged services
* Working in the Child Development Centre (Bleinheim house) and associated administration
* Link doctor covering a catchment of schools
* Referrals for children within this catchment will be accepted, along with specific referrals on the Neuro-developmental pathway from these schools with support from the central ND admin and clinical team

The ideal candidate will have achieved competencies relating to General Paediatric Training, demonstrated competencies equivalent to Higher Specialist Paediatric Training, and have experience of team working, areas relevant to Community Child Health, and working with looked-after children.
