Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of an inviting library environment tailored for Sixth Form students.
  • Curate and recommend literature from a diverse collection of over 7000 titles.
  • Manage library resources effectively to support the educational curriculum.
  • Identify and procure high-quality materials that align with the National Curriculum, ensuring a diverse and inclusive reading selection.
  • Instruct students on utilizing library resources and instill a passion for reading.
  • Encourage a love for literature among all students through engaging programs.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes student well-being and academic success.
  • Assist students with their independent study and after-school learning initiatives.
  • Implement reading interventions to enhance literacy skills and comprehension.

Compensation:
Salary range of £30,000 - £36,000 per annum, with a structured work schedule of 200 days per year and a 36-hour work week.
