Maths Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maths Teacher to join our team at Supply Desk. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching maths and a proven track record of delivering engaging lessons to secondary school students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maths curriculum that aligns with educational standards and objectives
  • Deliver effective and stimulating maths lessons to secondary school students
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student understanding and engagement
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance and guide them towards improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student performance and address any concerns
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
  • Teaching certification or license in secondary education with a focus on maths
  • Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary school level
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
