About The Role

Morrison Water Services is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead our Welsh Water, Wastewater Framework. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for leading the bid and tender activity and mobilisation works throughout the Welsh Water Operational area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client-focused, maintaining excellent relationships with Welsh Water
  • Manage and lead a team of professionals to the highest level of performance
  • Ensure compliance with Morrison Water Services procedures to support the delivery of world-class health, safety, and quality performance
  • Ensure compliance with Morrison Water Services environmental processes and procedures
  • Deliver excellent customer service and achieve above-target customer satisfaction scores
  • Support Welsh Water in the delivery of their performance commitments
  • Assist in maximising cash collection and deliver targeted margin
Requirements
  • Experienced leader with a proven track record in leading a multi-functional team
  • Proven ability to deliver against operational targets
  • Commercially aware and engaged
  • Naturally collaborative, able to build relationships with key client and supply chain contacts
  • Experience working with and managing specialist supply chain for effective, efficient delivery
  • Committed to delivering the highest health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing standards
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service
  • Experience in an operational manager role essential
  • Experience of working with design houses and able to manage design and multiple interfaces
Qualifications/Training
  • Preferably degree, HNC, or HND qualified in a relevant field for construction, engineering, project management, or similar
  • SMSTS
  • Extensive experience of leading a bid, through tender stage, and to mobilisation
  • Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent
  • NEBOSH National Certificate (General or Construction)
