We're seeking an Observability Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Roku, a leading company in the TV streaming market.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or software engineering, with recent experience designing and building unified observability platforms. Your expertise in deploying and using open-source observability tools in large-scale environments will be essential in navigating the complex world of metrics, logs, and traces.

As an Observability Infrastructure Specialist, you'll work on enhancing and expanding our diverse stack of components that operate across multiple clouds, regions, and clusters. You'll collaborate with our Service Mesh team to identify and standardize on existing and new observability tools, perform feature/functionality/usability trials of new observability tools, and contribute new open-source tools and/or improvements to existing open-source tools back to the CNCF ecosystem.

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with other teams to enhance their observability experience, handle large-scale operations to manage high-volume data and requests across multiple regions and clusters, and work with various technologies, including Kubernetes, Istio, Envoy, operators, etc.

Roku offers a comprehensive benefits package, including global access to mental health and financial wellness support and resources. Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
