As a Regional EHS Manager at Primark, you will play a key role in shaping the company's environmental health and safety agenda across Northern EU, UK, and US. Your primary responsibility will be to provide EHS leadership, development, and coordination of Primark's environmental health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the rollout of global standards and procedures is consistent across all regions, with clear responsibilities and exceptions to local rules and regulations.
- Contribute to and assist central EHS/project teams in the ongoing development of corporate EHS objectives, policies, and systems.
- Support the delivery of Primark's Cares Sustainability Strategy within Direct Operations and country teams.
- Drive continual improvement in leading and lagging indicators for your business area, working closely with Retail Director Generals.
- Analyze the results of internal and external EHS audits and provide regular reports to retail teams on their performance, actively assisting each manager to improve risk management in their area of responsibility.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in multi-site industries across markets, with Retail being a distinct advantage.
- Qualified to MSc, BSc, or BA level or equivalent in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Chartered Membership of IOSH or equivalent.
- Experience in supporting other regions within the business or previous experience.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, as well as Project Management and Communication skills.
