Veterinary Surgeon - Bedfordshire Opportunity

Purovets is seeking a skilled veterinary surgeon to join their team at an RCVS-accredited independent hospital in Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of post-graduate experience and a sound knowledge of small animal medicine and surgery.

The role offers a diverse and varied caseload, including exotics, and great facilities for accommodating a wide range of species. The hospital is an approved Veterinary Nurse Training Practice, a Vetsure Graduate Friendly Practice, and has a number of experienced vets qualified as VetGDP Advisors.

The rota is a 4-day week with 1 Friday night in 4 for hospital patient care only. Vets Now provide their OOH emergency care on a Friday night, but they keep patients on-site. There are also 1 in 4 Saturday consults on the same weekend as the Friday.

The purpose-built hospital is based in the picturesque county town of Bedford, with great road and rail links to London, Cambridge, and the north.
