Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead the SLT team in delivering high-quality therapy services, managing individual and group sessions, and overseeing the development of service initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Be the key worker for select clients, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey, liaising with families, and coordinating discharge plans.
  • Lead service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and clinical audits to ensure excellence in care.
  • Train and mentor team members, providing clinical supervision and supporting ongoing professional development.
  • Manage team operations, including recruitment, appraisals, and performance reviews.
Requirements

A Degree in Speech & Language Therapy and registration with both HCPC and RCSLT are essential. Additional training in dysphagia and ongoing CPD relevant to traumatic brain injury (TBI) are highly desirable. Expertise in neuro-rehabilitation, with a knack for creating tailored communication and swallowing support, is required.
