Network Delivery Manager

As a key member of the Network Rail team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of train services across the route. This will involve acting as the tactical commander during major incidents, directing control and response personnel, and coordinating asset rectification efforts.
Key responsibilities will include leading the control team, providing leadership and direction, and acting as a role model to improve the culture and capability of the Controller teams. You will also be responsible for the safe delivery of the daily train plan, managing safety of the line incidents, and disseminating safety critical information to the control team.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of operational and safety policies and procedures, and manage the integrity of sensitive operational and security documentation.
Essential skills and experience include experience of leading teams within a control, logistics or operations environment, good negotiating skills, and the ability to manage conflict and work under pressure. Desirable skills include previous experience of working within a safety critical communications environment and line management experience.
