Drylining Estimator Job Description

GVR Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Drylining Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for estimating and managing drylining projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Estimating and Tendering: Develop and deliver growth strategies, build and manage new relationships, complete and chase tenders, and create tender schedules.
  2. Cost and Negotiation: Provide support for the full life cycle of projects, including establishing timescales, budgets, and resources.
  3. Project Management: Enable maximum profit, smooth running, and on-schedule deliverables of projects.
  4. Estimating Process: Control and manage all aspects of the estimating process, including interrogation of Bills of Quantities, Schedules, Specifications, and Architect's drawings.
  5. Client Relationships: Liaise with internal managerial teams, operations, commercial, and sales to ensure clients receive a first-class service.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Knowledge and experience working for a drylining subcontractor.
  2. Tendering: Demonstrate winning tenders successfully.
  3. Client Relationships: Evidence of building client relationships.
  4. Planning and Execution: Effective planning and execution.
  5. Technical Awareness: Technically aware.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  7. Pressure Management: Works well under pressure.
  8. Sociability: Sociable and client-facing.
  9. Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented and accurate.
  10. Flexibility: Flexible and able to prioritize a changing to-do list.
