About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Engineer to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance Golang applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable Golang microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Lead and implement good development practices, including consistent branching strategies, coding standards, BDD/TDD, CICD, and DevOps.
  • Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from design to testing, release, and troubleshooting.
  • Follow the Scrum methodology, actively participating in sprint backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
  • Collaborate with other team members and teams to share knowledge and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of Golang, developing microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) software development methodology.
  • Experience with ALM, JIRA.
  • Good knowledge of DevOps and CICD, experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Good understanding of BDD/TDD.
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX commands.
