Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered mental health nurse to join our team as a Professional Nurse Educator. This exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse with recent clinical inpatient experience at a senior level to facilitate and support the clinical, professional, and educational development of the mental health nursing workforce in our Trust.

As a Professional Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of a programme of clinically relevant practice education, supporting the professional development of mental health nurses throughout their career journey. You will work within our adult mental health acute care pathways, collaborating with colleagues to advance inpatient nursing practice and clinical education within the Trust.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health nursing and mental health nurse education and development, with a strong clinical background within their area of nursing. They will also have a range of clinical and practice experience within NHS services, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to engage, support, and motivate staff of all levels.
