Role Overview

Morphe, a renowned beauty brand, seeks a highly skilled Beauty Artist to join its team in Selfridges, London. This role is ideal for an individual who can provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate artistry skills with clients upon request.

The successful candidate will create a unique, inviting, entertaining, and educational multi-brand shopping destination for Morphe customers. They will also collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive work environment, provide excellent service, and meet or exceed store financial goals.

About the Role

  • Provide the full Morphe customer service experience in store, delivering sales to meet or exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales
  1. Deliver the full Morphe customer service experience in store, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  2. Contribute positively to the team and the store by meeting or exceeding personal goals.
Service
  1. Offer excellent customer service and product knowledge, providing a full service experience depending on customers' needs.
  2. Demonstrate professionalism and poise as a representative of the Morphe brand.
  3. Support promotions, events, and launches to deliver an intended experience for customers.
  4. Elevate own artistry skills consistently.
  5. Attend required trainings and complete educational tools as assigned.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends to provide the best service possible.
Leadership
  1. Contribute to a productive and dynamic Morphe squad by connecting with employees, customers, and influencers.
  2. Show professionalism and respect in all interactions with customers, colleagues, management, and business associates.
Operations
  1. Acknowledge and adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting any variances to a Manager or People partner.
  2. Assist in executing visual displays, merchandising, and marketing standards, ensuring the store is consistently replenished.
  3. Participate in accurate physical inventory preparation and completion as assigned.
  4. Complete non-sell tasks as assigned by Management and as part of regular daily responsibilities.
  5. Ring sales accurately and use the POS correctly.
  6. Arrive on time and follow Morphe's personal appearance guidelines.
  7. FOLLOW safety and emergency procedures.
  8. ID potential loss prevention issues.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 years retail experience, with previous sales experience required.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and build relationships.
  • Flexibility to handle change positively.
  • Cosmetic artistry experience is advantageous.
  • Capacity to support business growth and exhibit professional behavior.
  • Maintain flexible availability.
  • Be open to working during peak traffic times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
