About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science Team at Jet2. As a key appointment, you will be responsible for delivering key data science initiatives that drive significant value across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and enthuse stakeholders across the business.
  • Take ownership of initiative delivery, breaking down tasks into measurable objectives and reporting progress.
  • Execute machine learning and statistical modelling tools to drive business value.
  • Develop clear data visualisations and storytelling skills to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong statistical background with expertise in Python.
  • Proficiency in SQL with exposure to Snowflake and data visualisation tools like Tableau.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering data science initiatives from concept to production.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data storage.
  • Ability to gather, cleanse, and enrich data from multiple sources.
  • Appreciation of data governance and quality assessment.
