We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Worker to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Patient Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing routine checks, and maintaining patient records
- Assist healthcare professionals with procedures, treatments, and interventions as required
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control guidelines and ensuring patient dignity and respect
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting open and transparent relationships

Requirements

- A minimum of 6 months' experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably within the last 2 years
- Completion of the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification (e.g., QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
