Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing APIs, handling integration work, and ensuring seamless end-to-end deployment of your code. This position requires expertise in both Python and.NET environments, with a strong focus on high-performance and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain high-quality APIs using Python, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members on integration tasks, fostering a culture of open communication and creative problem-solving.
  • Deploy your own code from development through to production, leveraging cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with existing code written in.NET and integrate it with new Python services, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance, adhering to best practices for code versioning and review.
  • Ensure code quality and participate in code reviews to maintain high development standards, driving continuous improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions, prioritizing customer needs and business objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience with Python and building backend systems, particularly API development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Hands-on experience with.NET or knowledge sufficient to integrate and troubleshoot with existing.NET code, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Proven ability to deploy your own code in a production environment, leveraging cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with integration work, handling multiple systems, and ensuring smooth communication between them, with a focus on high-performance and responsiveness.
  • Knowledge of cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices for code versioning and review, with a strong emphasis on code quality and maintainability.
