We are seeking an Electrical Systems Maintenance Engineer to join our team at SI Group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and calibration, with experience working in hazardous areas.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our business.
- The salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Role
This position involves installing, maintaining, and calibrating electrical systems across the site, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
The successful candidate will also support control systems maintenance, including DCS and local controllers, and apply technical understanding of interlocks, alarms, and safety systems.
Additionally, the role requires handling electrical installations in hazardous areas, contributing to modifications and projects within the maintenance function, and participating in a rotating out-of-hours callout schedule.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and calibrate electrical systems.
- Support control systems maintenance.
- Apply technical understanding of interlocks, alarms, and safety systems.
- Handle electrical installations in hazardous areas.
- Contribute to modifications and projects within the maintenance function.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and calibration.
- Experience working in hazardous areas.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in electrical engineering preferred.
