Housekeeper Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Housekeeper at Daffodil House, a new Adult Care service opening in early 2025. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and organising cleaning rotas
  • Comprehensive cleaning, including washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to management teams
  • Organising and assisting with laundry duties and rotas
  • Assisting with ordering of cleaning supplies
  • Using and storing cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities
