Job Title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics design and development, with experience in designing and developing electronic systems and products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic systems and products, including circuit boards, microprocessors, and microcontrollers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements.
  • Work closely with the software team to develop device drivers and resolve design and integration issues.
  • Support type approval processes and assist in production.
  • Provide technical support to end customers and report progress to the project team and manager.

Requirements:

  • Strong electronics design and development experience.
  • Experience in designing switching power supplies, buck, boost, and flyback converters.
  • Experience with microprocessor and microcontroller designs.
  • Experience in designing digital interfaces and buses - USB2, SPI, I2C.
  • Low power circuit design for battery powered products.

Salary: Circa £85,000 depending on experience.
