Skilled Painter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled painter to support the delivery of high-quality metallic and composite components and assemblies for various aircraft. This permanent position involves working on late shifts to ensure the production of items that meet precise aerospace industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environmental Health and Safety (EHS): Promote a safe workplace environment and ensure compliance with all EHS policies and procedures.
  • Clocking and Booking: Accurately record time and attendance and job costing.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain clean workstations and proper storage of tools and equipment.
  • Quality: Adhere to all quality standards, processes, and procedures to minimize wastage.
  • Cost Management: Support cost reduction initiatives by reducing unnecessary expenditure.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Stay updated with necessary operations and maintain Approved Operator (AO) stamps.
  • Team Working: Participate actively in team meetings, share knowledge, and coach trainees if required.

Working Hours: 14:15-22:30 (Mon-Thu) / 12:00-18:00 (Fri)

Salary: £35,710.11 (£29,758.43 + 20% shift allowance) / £36,768.75 (£30,640.63 + 20% shift allowance) upon obtaining AO stamp
