Job Overview:

Kenton Black Finance is recruiting on behalf of a company that employs over 65 staff and has a turnover of circa £27 million. The organization is seeking a permanent and full-time Accounts Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a busy finance department, supporting a team of finance professionals.
  • Produce procedures for the accounts department to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to maintain cash flow and control.
  • Prepare and review monthly journals, trial balance, and nominal checks.
  • Develop and provide reports to support the Financial Controller.
  • Manage VAT quarterly submissions and wage queries.
  • Oversee the monthly payment run and upload to the bank.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as requested by the Financial Controller.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Manager, Ledger Manager, or Finance Manager.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to train and support others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
