Community Dental Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the dental team and reception duties, ensuring exceptional patient care and a seamless experience for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support, including IT and clerical tasks, to ensure the smooth operation of the Community Dental Service.
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination between teams, maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Supporting clinical staff with waiting area management, providing a welcoming and efficient service to patients and visitors.
- Providing an efficient and confidential reception service, undertaking telephone and reception duties as required.
- Assisting in data collection and entry, working with computer systems to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Typing documents and reports, using PC-based word processing and spreadsheet packages to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Providing administrative support to all staff in the department, contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Undertaking general office administration tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and processing information.
- Flexibility to work and travel between offices as required to cover clinics.
- Being a key holder and responsible for the opening up and closing of the office when required.
- Ordering stationery to ensure sufficient supplies are available in the department.
